15th Annual Community Day of Service Registration

Orange Blossom Trail

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:  Planting between on the Orange Blossom Trail between Wabash and Dearborn.  We will plant 1/2 mile of planters.
SUGGESTED TOOLS TO BRING:  Gloves, trowels, shovels and rakes.
GROUP ASSIGNMENTS: Brookside Park Ward, Mill Creek Ward, Ford Park Ward, Accelerate Neighborhood Climate Action, Redlands Conservancy, YouthHope

Brookside Avenue Median

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:  Planting the remainder of the medians that haven't been planted.  Grant Street west, 5 medians.  Great project for clubs.
SUGGESTED TOOLS TO BRING:  Gloves, shovels. trowels and rakes.
GROUP ASSIGNEMENTS: Mansion Memories, Rotary Club of Redlands

Riverview Park Trail

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:  Tree planting from Church Street east.  Continue last year's project to line the street with trees.  We will plant 90-100 trees.
SUGGESTED TOOLS TO BRING:  Gloves, shovels and rakes.
GROUP ASSIGNMENTS: Lugonia Ward, City Creek Ward, Pioneer Ward, University of Redlands

Ford Park Lower Pond

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:  We will create a 3-4 foot barrier around the lower pond.  This is best for younger people who can lift and carry rocks.  We need a lot of people.
SUGGESTED TOOLS TO BRING:  Gloves, wheelbarrows

Community Day of Service – Saturday, March 9, 2024
Begins at 9:00 AM

Sign up at Registration Tables at each of the 4 projects.

After working at one of the Service Projects, come and enjoy a lunch served by the Kiwanis at Sylvan Park at 11:30 AM.  There will be a “Bounce House” for the kids.
